#MyBody

My Body is a personal collaboration focused on women’s body positivity, self-acceptance, and representation. The project started when a friend approached me to create a visual identity and social media content around this topic. The goal was to create a brand that communicates confidence and challenges the pressure women experience from beauty standards and external judgment. Through branding and visual communication, I wanted to create a message that encourages women to embrace their bodies and define beauty on their own terms.

Inspiration

The inspiration behind My Body came from conversations around body image, beauty standards, and the way women are represented in society.

I explored how brands and campaigns can create emotional connections through visual storytelling. These references helped shape a visual direction that feels empowering, expressive, and inclusive.

Design

The visual identity combines expressive typography, strong visual elements, and a confident aesthetic to represent the message behind My Body.

The design system was created to feel recognizable and flexible, allowing the brand to communicate consistently across different social media formats and campaign materials.

Brand Applications

The final designs translate the message of My Body into a visual identity focused on empowerment and representation.

Through the combination of typography, imagery, and graphic elements, the designs aim to create awareness while encouraging a more positive relationship with body image.

Reflection

This project taught me how important collaboration and communication are when translating someone else’s idea into a visual identity.

Working on a personal message like body positivity showed me how design can be used to create emotional connections and start conversations.

I learned how to balance a meaningful concept with visual decisions, creating a design that is not only visually appealing but also supports the message behind it.
